Sample Value Profile Report
Sample Value Profile Summary
The Hartman Value Profile (based on the work of Robert S. Hartman, Ph.D.) measures a person’s capacity to think and make value judgments. Through years of academic research, Dr. Hartman discovered mathematical principles that supoort the way we think and value. These principles form the core of Axiology, the science of values and valuing.
The Hartman Value Profile is neither an intelligence test, aptititude test nor a personality test. It is simply a view into the thinking lenses a person uses to make decisions: the intrinsic lens, the extrinsic lens and the systemic lens.
The Hartman Value Profile is a great tool for:
- Personal Development
- Organizational Hiring
- Recruitment
- Placement
- Team Building
In short, The Hartman Value Profile measures our capacity to organize our thinking and emotions as we process our internal world and external world. More specifically, it measures our ability to:
- Connect with ourselves and the world around us;
- Identify how we view and filter what is happening internally (inner world) and externally (outer world);
- Create concepts and ideas by considering what is important to us; and
- Apply our ideas and expectations into decisions.
The Hartman Value Profile has a wonderful ability to help us become more aware of our capacities. It provides the insight into the combination of talent that defines our uniqueness, the lenses that support our strengths, abilities and biases. It illustrates how and where we tend to narrow attention and formulate decisions. Through this discovery we can gain more clarity and achieve more balance inadvertently improving our ability to be who we are in a healthy and confident manner.
